EDUCATION

“The end-product of education should be a free creative man, who can battle against historical circumstances and adversities of nature”.
– Dr. S Radhakrishnan

Value based education is a powerful instrument to being about social change. While the knowledge-based or information-oriented education focusses only on the intellectual development of the child, value-based education focuses on physical, mental and spiritual development of every child. This kind of education inculcates moral and ethical values and works on enriching the character of the individual. While the education in the modern world is focussed on getting a job and having a career, value- based education aims to awaken curiosity, develop proper interests & attitudes, enable capacity to think and generate knowledge about oneself.

Keeping in line with this, education at EEE stands for a holistic approach towards the physical, mental and spiritual development of every child. We aim at supporting them at each stage of their lives, until they are independent members of their families and the community. The areas of focus at EEE presently are as follows:

  • Promoting our ancient culture along with modern and traditional education
  • Organising educational camps for kids and youth to increase their knowledge and personality development
  • Promoting yoga to make it an important part of daily life
  • Organising educational tours for kids and youth to broaden their perspective

Keeping in line with the focus areas, the following activities are conducted:

  • Yoga classes every morning
  • English classes for students from 1st to 12th standard
